I spent the day yesterday in Washington, DC to soak in some sights on this Memorial Day weekend. From the glory of the World War II Memorial, to the spectacle of Rolling Thunder, here are some of my favorite images.

Wow! Wonderful photos…each one! I would have been very moved to have been there in person, I know. Thank you for sharing the photos. It must be an incredible experience to be in our nation’s capitol for Memorial Day or the 4th. I really enjoyed this post. Debra

Thanks so much! I’m glad you enjoyed the photos. It’s a pain to get down there and back on the ‘big days,’ but really worth it.
